C4? Do you mean C41? What are you processing and how? Reel and trough? Rewind tank? Is someone taking care of the chemistry and marking each time everything is used? Are people clean or is there carryover?
You get good results sometimes, but at other times you do not? Photograph a step wedge for a couple frames before each roll and if something goes wrong in processing in the future you'll have something to check. Do the white marks look like air bells? Very small, very round, and totally white?
