White marks like that could be fixer splashes (sometimes contamination from
the equipment not being clean) or they could be kinks or bends in the film.
I never liked rewind method because agitation consistency is never all that
great... put two people on the tank and it'll be slightly different.

Your results are the same from end-to-end?  It's the whole roll that is bad?
And when it's bad do you run a test afterward or do you pitch it or do you
just use the same chemistry again next time and it's fine?
