This is sad. I have know Jon for decades from working at Canyon Cinema. His spirit was moved from his involvement with experimental cinema. His contributions to giving out grants for transfers to experimental filmmakers from Light Press was a major accomplishment. Without such a grant I could never have finished my last five films, Prometheus, Flashbacks, Luminae, Khorosho and two more films in progress. One on North Korea and another one Luminae II in progress.
I am very sorry to hear of his loss, he was a vibrant filmmaker and gave much to the experimental community.
