Hi Janis, I work at a large art museum in SF and we maintained direct contact with Robert for many years, for projectors, loopers and repairs (we maintain several of the projectors and loopers he sold us at present). Though he was helpful with technical support, or when making a purchase, he was very slow to respond regarding follow ups on misc. equipment resources, lamps, etc. (once the checks were cashed). I don't want to disparage him, but he did make many unfulfilled promises and eventually ghosted us pretty hard - in fact RFS still owes us three Xenon lamps.
The last time I tried to contact him at the number Pip listed (about 6 months ago) it was not working and there was no website presence (as there once was). I suspect the whole operation has ceased, but I can't confirm that. I hope you get your equipment - those loopers have been invaluable for us, and were some of the best made.
