Talk to the man doing your optical track! Just be aware that the bandwdith will be limited and so will the dynamic range... but you don't need to bandlimit or crush it because he'll do that for you. You may find a little presence boost helps overcome the distortion on cheap classroom projectors but then again you may choose not to do that.
