@ Mark Toscano Just noticed this older post on lamps for a 250S. I've upped a 250S with a 250W ELC lamp, and had no problems projecting a film with it. I haven't torture tested it, so I can't speak to anything that might appear with regular use over time. But for one screening where brightness matters I wouldn't hesitate...
Love the 250S exactly because it uses modern lamps and I trust Pageants more than the alternatives in terms of handling precious prints.
