Fuji already carries more color camera stocks than Kodak. Print and intermediate stocks in color and black and white are available through Fuji and ORWO. On the other hand, optical sounds stocks, though made by ORWO, and now Fuji, are only in 35mm. At least, this is my understanding? AFGA, last I heard, continues to make optical sound film (NT and Chace would be the ones to ask) in 16mm and 32/35mm for slitting to 16mm, however the cost has gone up and the minimum order has gone up as well. The fact that AGFA makes the stock available as 32/35mm means the future option for 16mm opticals will continue to exist, however the number of places that can deal with slitting the stock is smaller than the number of places that continue to shoot 16mm optical sound tracks. I don't know of any replacement for 7363, so let's hope this stock stays around, or that ORWO steps in or that someone determines a way to process ORWO as hi-con. Hey, Robert Schaller.... are you testing ORWO stocks now??
