The motion picture division of Kodak is still profitable at $4M per year. ORWO makes about $2M per year. I think that a buyer would come forward for the motion picture division. I know that ORWO itself is interested. I spoke to a cinematographer who does commercials and he says that he is still shooting film a bit.
It looks that film will persist in some form, but probably with reduced options. I expend less energy worrying about it. I just go on making films.
