***Tomorrow, August 28th at 7:30 PM***

Seeking to define the genre of portraiture as it manifests within artists’
work in the moving image, Inga Fraser will introduce a screening of short
works produced by some of the best-known experimental filmmakers of the
sixties. These works are seen to establish the functions, parameters and
aesthetics of film portraiture as it emerged in the early period of
postmodern experimental filmmaking. Come and enjoy the films and great
British tea!

Screening at:
The Film-Makers' Cooperative
475 Park Ave South, 6th Floor
