Workshop 1 : Silver emulsion film stock, shooting to possible treatments of the film; creative possibilities and conservation problems Using the collection of films distributed by Lightcone as a starting point for the presentation of the possibilities afforded to artists in the creation of film work at all levels of the production process (with or without cameras, printing techniques, diverse manipulations, stop motion, perforations and soundtracks, etc.), questions surrounding the problems of the conservation of these complex film objects will be addressed.
