Today I spoke to Cynthia Lawder, Stan's daughter, who informed me that Standish passed away May 13th from complications from an earlier stroke. She said there would be a memorial service in the future but, at present, does not have a date. When there is more information it will be sent to the list. He was a great person,a truly amazing filmmaker and a friend.
