For those in Australia/New Zealand - Oskar Fischinger's *Raumlichtkunst* opens August 30 at another museum, this time in Australia. It's part of an exhibition called Sublime at the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art (which is an excellent museum), Brisbane, on view through May, 2015. Opening events on August 30 include a screening of the *Optical Poetry: Oskar Fischinger Retrospective* from Center for Visual Music in 35mm, plus a talk on Fischinger and *Raumlichtkunst* by Cindy Keefer, curator/archivist. www.qagoma.qld.gov.au/cinematheque/current/oskar_fischinger
*Raumlichtkunst, *c. 1926/2012, is Center for Visual Music's new HD 3-screen installation, a reconstruction of Oskar Fischinger's 1920s multiple projector performances, using newly restored film from his nitrate originals. At this venue, *Raumlichtkunst* is 36 feet wide (12 feet each projection).
