Dear Friends and Supporters of Lawrence Brose,
As this year comes to a close The Lawrence Brose Defense Fund Team wishes to
thank everyone who has stayed with Lawrence through this legal nightmare.
Lawrence now begins a new chapter of his life with a two year probation
sentence (complete with an overzealous probation officer) plus a mountain of
debt from legal fees. In some ways it doesn’t feel all that different, but as
Bill Altreuter points out, with this sentence, everything is different for
Lawrence.
Attorney and freelance writer Bill Altreuter has published a marvelous essay
which brings everyone into the court room the day of the sentencing. It is well
