*Ken Jacobs / Bruce McClure as part of Never Twice: Live Expanded Cinema Performance* Ken Jacbos and Bruce McClure join us Sunday 12.13 as the first two of eight performances of our exhibit "Never Twice: Live Expanded Cinema Performance". Jacob's BLACK SPACE, consists of 3 parts: "Islands of sensation", "Surround-sound", and "Let there be light". Additionally,Jacobs will use the occasion to clarify his definition of paracinema. Bruce McClure's "Textiles through the Ages" is a performance for a shoeless projector on a modified Eiki SSL-O projector in which sprocket holes and sound track sound appear. The gallery is open Friday through Sunday 1-6pm prior to the performance during which the filmmakers have the opportunity to set up and otherwise prepare and again on Monday where remnants of the show will be on view.
