! Launched last week, the project is raising funds to to help preserve and
share Bruce's work with the publication of a book and a touring 16mm
retrospective.The international film tour will travel to Spain, the UK, Mexico
City and many cities in the US including Washington D.C., San Francisco, Boston
and more in 2016 and 2017. The bilingual book, slated to be published this
Summer by Interior XIII and Distrital Film Festival, includes contributions
from Steve Anker, Peter Hutton, Denah Johnston, Janis Crystal Lipzin, Scott
MacDonald, Richard Peña, Andréa Picard, JP Sniadecki, Ben Rivers and Peter
Tscherkassky. The book will also include letters from Chick Strand and Stan
Brakhage. Your donations will help organize the international tour and rent
each film (on film!) from Canyon. The more money we can raise, the more
screenings we
can organize and the wider this project will reach!
