Hey analogue filmmaking friends! I'm looking for an experimental analogue filmmaker to collaborate on a single shot: I'm creating a diving documentary short & I have one 10 second shot where I need to visually depict visual disturbances, changing emotional states and altering reality from a character's POV. I *could* do it in AE, but that's not the goal for this film: I want to go purely analogue. This is where I need the help of someone experienced in experimental manipulation of photochemical film.
The film is being shot in 35mm, but the experimental seq can be 16mm for blow-up to 35 if need be. I will provide intermediate/print film materials, but the film is intended as a fundraising teaser and as such is micro budget & that's as far as resources allow. The glory will be free :) The shot is about 15ft of film and my deadline for completion is July, so only 2 months. Let me know if this piques your interest, or you can recommend someone.
