I don't know if this is at all appropriate for this listserve, especially given that there is mention of some video gear (!!). I have to downsize and am looking to dispose of lots of old (and admittedly some broken) pieces of film and video equipment that are languishing…I am in the East Bay in Northern California. What do you think of my pricing on this, and does anyone think someone would might want any of it? Or know where to sell or otherwise elegantly dispose of or donate it? I suppose I could take photos, but…Maybe there’s something to like here for someone?
Bogen 3067 dolly, slight damage to one of the plastic wheel rests but fully functional; second hand sells for 125 at B&H Bogen 3066 fluid tripod head, cosmetic damage to one lever; plate and two handles included; and 3193 tripod legs; all together sells for 350 on ebay S8 editing machine by Gobo, European plug, i.e.with motor and viewer---can be used with a current adapter in US households Arri 16mm guillotine splicer, not too shabby! Can’t even find one like this now on Google Bolex 16mm cement splicer, in original box Krasnogorsk 16mm body, zoom lens, various filters for lens; dedicated leather and metal carrying case. Has the classic Krasnogorsk issue of the plate Bogen hexagonal quick release plate, sells for 75 new Sony PD-150, does not turn on due to dead internal battery, but Sony's repair specialist in L.A can make the whole thing work again for a flat rate. Yes, this is an old 3 chip SD. If you are into tape…lotsa blank mini-DV tapes to go with this, and porta-brace blue case. Other little things like china marker, shooting manuals, even some splicing tape Best Offer, of course hoping someone will take all of it at once. Suggestions?
