Mostly I agree, but having an unencrypted .xex can help even if it's digitally signed. Being able to read code, even in hex or binary, can lead to a later exploit but it will probably come the other way around. xex files could prove the cleanest way to mod the xbox.
Anyway, does anybody know if it's possible to revert the xbox to fabric default settings? It could be useful after a potentially dangerous mod to default.xex. Has anyone tried that? (Sorry I won't be able to help with that as I won't buy the xbox360.
