Well, perhaps. If so, having entirely different version numbers would be
better (e.g. 1.0.2 for httpinput.pmi and 3.0 for dsoundcard.pmo). The
best solution is perhaps to use dates as version numbers for all files
(not just the help and .txt files).

One of the advantages of having update functionality in FreeAmp is that
you can just update the files that are changed (perhaps fixing a
spelling mistake in the help file or UI), without having to download the
*entire* FreeAmp package. If the version numbers are changed, but not
the files, you have to much unnecessary downloading.
