Did you try remaking the device entries? Here's what mine looks like:
crw-r----- 1 root operator 117, 0 Feb 14 13:52 acd0a
crw-r----- 1 root operator 117, 2 Feb 14 13:52 acd0c
If yours aren't the same run MAKEDEV acd0 and try again.
