option GEOM_PART_MBR option GEOM_PART_BSD are dropped from GENERIC config. Does it make any difference if you put geom_part_mbr_load="YES" geom_part_bsd_load="YES" in /boot/loader.conf before rebooting? > I was pointed to a post regarding modifying partition ID's by Allan > Jude as there seems to have been an issue with ThinkPads & FreeBSD in > the past.
