::Define "past couple of days". I have a working linuxulator made on Oct
::29, 12:25 PST.

By following commit, makebdev() went away.
But there is sys/compat/linux/linux_stats.c:linux_ustat() that still
uses it.

  Modified files:
    sys/i386/i386        autoconf.c
    sys/kern             kern_conf.c
    sys/sys              conf.h
  Log:
  Deprecate devsw->d_bmaj entirely.

  This removes support for booting current kernels with very old bootblocks.

  Device driver writers: Please remove initializations for the d_bmaj
  field in your cdevsw{}.
