I didn't try that, but i did not get that error using: -O2 -march=athlon-xp -mmmx -msse -m3dnow -mfpmath=sse to compile the xc/ tree I know that some of the flags above are redundant, but this worked and X is running without any crashes or wierdness. (so far). I also applied all of the above compile flags when building xscreensaver and saw a very noticeable speed improvement in some of the hacks. -- ========================================================== = Bryan D.
