Hello,

I've only been slowly working on nsswitch this year, as I'm occupied
on other projects. I intend to return to it and complete it as soon
as possible. Much new work has been done, but there is quite a bit of
tedium left. I will be very disappointed if I am not able to complete
the work before 5.0-RELEASE.

I have no plans to do a MFC of the existing implementation, because
the API and functionality has changed from what I've committed to
-CURRENT, and indeed from the last set of patches I publicly posted.

I don't have any objections to an MFC -- after all, the current code
is stable, and the API is the same as what is currently found in
NetBSD. It just is not a priority for me. Most people want support
for more than just files, NIS, and Hesiod.

Cheers,
