He's trying to port IOKit to FreeBSD for his exercise (if you had read his
first e-mail you'd know that).

I saw no such thing in his first email, nor in any of his subsequent
messages; all I see is variations on "FreeBSD sucks, but luckily for
you I'm here to tell you how to fix it" which is not going to fly.
