I have been trying to install mysql 4.1.10a on freebsd 4.8 but I get
the following error:

not adding suffix rules

Examining pre-fetch...non-existent...non-existent and no
sources...out-of-date.

/bin/echo: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
*** Error code 2
How to repeat:
make distclean
make
Any ideas how to fix?
