Bienvenido. Primero, esta lista es en ingles... debe haber alguna en
castellano, pero la verdad q no se :)

Ahora... a ayudarte :-) .
Por lo que dice Mr. Google, buscando simplemente "RYGE ART18CX", es un Modem
ADSL, q soporta, entre otras cosas,servidor de DHCP y modo bridged .

Simplemente asegurate q tu modem este configurado correctamente para conectarse
a internet, y que este configurado para usarse como servidor como DHCP.... no
te preocupes mucho, a menos que hayas cambiado algo, en general todos los
modems funcionan asi..
Luego, conecta tu computadora con FreeBSD por medio de un
cable de red al modem (o a un hub o switch de red) y configura tu compu para q'
use DHCP (si no sabes como hacer esto, fijate en el handbook...tienes q
modificar /etc/rc.conf) . reinicia la red ( como root, /etc/rc.d/netif
restart , x lo menos en FreeBSD 6.x ) y deberia estar todo listo.

Resolucion : esto es parte de X (XFree o Xorg). Lee la seccion correspondiente
en el handbook.
