I am trying to configure ipaddress and route entries. so that i added
below the entries in /etc/rc.conf file.
vi /etc/rc.conf
inetd_enable="YES"
hostname="test.abc.com"
ifconfig_fxp0="inet 192.168.110.14 netmask 255.255.255.0"
defaultrouter="192.168.110.2"
hostname="test.abc.com"
static_routes="net1 net2"
route_net1="-net 192.168.1.1/24 192.168.110.2"
route_net2="-net 192.168.2.1/24 192.168.110.2"
and then i restated the network services "netif restart"
The below entries are listed in router table ...
$ netstat -nr
Routing tables
Internet:
Destination Gateway Flags Refs Use Netif Expire
127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 UH 0 0 lo0
192.168.110 link#1 UC 0 0 fxp0
Problem :: Default router entries and net1 & net2 entries are not added
in router table...
Please advice me anything i want to configue more in rc.conf file....
I can able to add default router by executing " route add -net 0.0.0.0
192.168.110.2"
Thanks,
Senthilkumar.

Wrong rc script. Try "/etc/rc.d/routing restart". routing requires
netif, but netif does not imply routing.
