Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run?

After hashing out
#LoadModule unique_id_module libexec/apache/mod_unique_id.so
#AddModule mod_unique_id.c

Apache starts normally

Can anyone explain this?

are you sure you use the same apache version as with 6.*?
