In your first message you said that The Sony TV was DTLA compliant. Because you specifically mentioned it, I assumed you knew what that meant. Your streaming server *will not* be DTLA compliant unless you are running Windows media center edition or something. I am a little surprised the TV would refuse to work with an unencrypted stream, which is why I did not respond to your first post.
