I am trying to install the vmware3 port. osage# uname -a FreeBSD osage.telecom.ksu.edu 5.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE #0: Thu Aug 21 23:27:06 CDT 2003 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/OSAGE i386 osage# pwd /usr/ports/emulators/vmware3 osage# make install ===> vmware3-3.2.1-2237_1 is marked as broken: Kernel source files required.
okay, fine, the source files ARE installed /usr/ports/emulators/vmware3/Makefile line 40 says: SRC_BASE?= /usr/src shouldn't that be: SRC_BASE?= /usr/src/sys anyway, i did that, it compiled and starts up. just letting anyone who may care know about it.
