There are a couple of things that I'm struggling with unsuccessfully.
Me too. :-)
One of them is figuring out how to get daemons to start up when the server starts, or restarts, without having to start them manually.
Toward the end of the booting process fbsd will run [in sort order] whatever scripts it finds in the directory /usr/local/etc/rc.d/.
