I was waiting for opal to build and break on -current and found the following. The SIS7012 is handled by ich.c. You can find it in /usr/src/sys/dev/sound/pci/ich.c I had to laugh when I saw #define SIS7012ID 0x70121039 /* SiS 7012 needs special handling */ Because of your problems all I could do was chuckle and agree with someone's comment.
