Hey all, I'm missing something small here. I set up isc's dhcp server to listen on one interface and it listens on both.
gate# /usr/local/sbin/dhcpd rl1 Internet Software Consortium DHCP Server V3.0.1rc12 Copyright 1995-2003 Internet Software Consortium. All rights reserved. For info, please visit http://www.isc.org/products/DHCP Wrote 1 leases to leases file. Listening on BPF/rl1/00:50:ba:58:c1:0d/192.168.2.0/24 Sending on BPF/rl1/00:50:ba:58:c1:0d/192.168.2.0/24 Sending on Socket/fallback/fallback-net gate# netstat -an | grep 67 udp4 0 0 *.67 *.* I've searched online and read the man pages about 5 times and this is the only way I can find to specify the interface. I've also plugged into the subnet hanging off of rl0 (which was *not* specified) and grabbed an IP address, thus confirming that this daemon is indeed listening on all ints. ===== ----------------------------------------------------------- With a few exceptions, secrecy is deeply incompatible with democracy and with science. --Carl Sagan ----------------------------------------------------------- __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
