I'll be installing FBSD 5.3 on an 80GB hard drive (machine has 512MB of RAM) and was considering the following partitions:
/ /usr /usr/local /var /var/tmp /tmp /home SWAP I'm looking for some recommendations around what the partition sizes should be assuming I'm allocating the entire disk to FreeBSD. It will be a used as a desktop and not a server, but I'd be curious about the sizing differences as I'll be setting up a similar machine as a mail/FTP/web server. Thanks. -- Cheers, Trey --- The most costly of all follies is to believe passionately in the palpably not true. It is the chief occupation of mankind. -- H.L.
