I've only been using FreeBSD for about ~2 years, the thing i really like about FreeBSD is the stability of the configuration system. Placement of configuration files and startup scripts make life easier in daily administration.
The things i'm using FreeBSD for? # Gateway Router # Squid Proxy cache # Web Server (Apache 2.2) #> Wordpress Blog # Primary/Secondary DNS (Bind) # DHCP # PXE Boot machine # Syslog Server # Firewall (very much in love with PF) I'm not really confident with updates yet, still learning so yet to push a FreeBSD machine into production. Thanks.
