to be sure i updated my sources using `svn up /usr/src` then reverted back to the repository files in order to get rid of any previously patched files using `svn -R revert /usr/src` and the applied the patch you send me. the result is the same: only the top of the page get's printed. that's it. the printer signals an error. at this point i need to turn off the printer and turn it on again in order to use it again. if i try to print another page without restarting the printer usb becomes unusable.
