Thank you. Does FreeGUI run on Runtime Revolution?
I guess the problem is that RR doesn't have a home stack.

Hello Takaaki Furukawa,

Are there any sample or demo stacks for FreeCard?
I would like to see it running.

It depends on what you mean by "FreeCard stacks".

FreeCard (FC) is not even alpha yet. So the answer is
NO if you wanted stacks crafted natively by FreeCard.

It is clearly our goal, however, that FreeCard will be
able to *import* stacks from HyperCard (HC), SuperCard
(SC), MetaCard (MC) & Revolution (RR). We have worked
extensively on the XML transfer-format. This work can
be found at the Pantechnicon. Basically, each xCard is
(or will be) scripted to export its stacks in our XML
format, which will then be slurped-up by FreeCard and
transduced into the corresponding FC-stack. And
vice-versa if contributors wish it to be so. I am
focused on MC and HC, only, leaving it to others to
adapt it to their favorite xCard. Its all open source
so ....

Read on. It gets better. ;)

If you wanted to see the stacks that we have crafted
to prototype the GUI of FreeCard, particularly if you
are a HyperCard fan, then you will be thrilled to hear
that we<ve got something you can download immediately.
It is called FreeGUI. The group is a Yahoo-Group named
FreeGUI (un-surprisingly enough). You can DL FreeGUI
from there, or from the Pantechnicon (no difference).

In its first incarnation (now), FreeGUI is VERY VERY
close to the GUI of HC 2.2, but with native color and
some other key MC features. The only MAJOR difference
between FreeGUI and HyperCard beyond these MC add-ons
is the lack of Reports.

Good hunting, Takaaki! :)
