SVN Revision 15653 of version 2.1.9 (GTK client)
start a game and save it
load this saved game
now you can't save anymore, manually. auto save is still working.
Something must have been changed in the way the server is controlled which
makes this impossible now.
Loading the saved game chat window says:
chris: 'set savename dänisch'
/set: You are not allowed to set this option.
chris: 'set timeout 0'
/set: You are not allowed to set timeout values less than 30 seconds.
/take: Usage: take <player-name>
chris: 'start '
All players are ready; starting game.
chris lost control cmdlevel on game start. Use voting from now on.
the following commands are replayed from saved game or options file:
New vote (number 0) by Indira Gandhi: set saveturns 1.
Vote "set saveturns 1" is passed 1 to 0 with 0 abstentions.
(server prompt): 'set saveturns 1'
New vote (number 1) by Indira Gandhi: set savename dänisch.
Vote "set savename dänisch" is passed 1 to 0 with 0 abstentions.
(server prompt): 'set savename dänisch'
these seem to work.
But now:
/save: You are not allowed to use this command.
chris: 'first '
/first: Connection chris has opted to become the game organizer.
Saved settings to file /home/chris/.civclientrc
/save: You are not allowed to use this command.
/save: You are not allowed to use this command.
even after 2 turns i do not get game organizer access
Or do I oversight a way to accomplish the task?
BTW: the savename "dänisch" is cut to "d" for the files being saved.
BTW2: when quitting a game, the last created save game is overwritten by an
actual /different) save from the same turn. This is new and I'm not sure if
this is a good thing.
