Follow-up Comment #2, bug #23392 (project freeciv):
More problems with --bind, related or not.
freeciv-server --bind 127.0.0.1 restricts the server on lo
freeciv-gtk3 can see the server but won't connect: connection refused
Without the --bind it can see the server AND connect.
--quitidle 1 won't quit the server in 1 second
