Follow-up Comment #2, patch #5681 (project freeciv):

I've attached an example of use of the new sprites path.normal, path.step,
path.exhausted_mp, path.waypoint (but not the numbers) and an animated GIF of
the result.

This isn't a commit candidate, just an illustration of what this is about.

Some more notes:
* "path.normal" and "path.exhausted_mp" are only for the end of a path (under
the cursor), I think
* "path.step" is for the middle of a path
* "path.waypoint" can appear anywhere on the path (where the user sets an
explicit waypoint)
