S2_6/TRUNK version, new version for S2_5
- Avoid compiler warning about int/enum conversion when compiling C++ code
(qt-client, ruledit)
- Assert that direction8_invalid() is 8 before initializing cache with index 8
reserved for it. This both documents what happens there and protects the code
against future changes of direction8_invalid() definition
- Corrected comment that referred to direction8_invalid() as -1
