Follow-up Comment #2, bug #24741 (project freeciv):

S2_5_3 is a branch we had for making 2.5.3 outside-S2_5. It was an emergency
release we made by taking only cherry-picked fixes over 2.5.2, not everything
we had in S2_5 at the time.
I see no point in making the situation less clear by removing the branch, even
though 2.5.3 tag can be used to get the version history of that release.
