Follow-up Comment #2, bug #24834 (project freeciv):
I'm sending a submarines on goto-attack to fight an enemy's cruiser. During
turn change phase (when the sub is supposed to hit) the cruiser moves out of
the way. Server cancels the goto when the sub is next to the tile where the
cruiser have been the turn before.
What bothers me, is, that the sub might have seen the cruisers place empty
when it is already 2 tiles away. So, it can stop (server cancels attack) 1
step earlier, so avoiding some dangers the sub is prone to, in a sea fight
...
What I do not know, though, is what the intention of the goto cancellation is
ITFP, and whether this is a bug or not.
