I suggest, that you wrongly understand GPL.
Of course! I've never understood legal language, and I, you, and many others we have problems with "normal" English too. And you're right that Mr. Turner probably doesn't understand the technical problem too. So, a big misunderstanding occurs, because we speak different languages (I don't mean English, Russian, Bulgarian, German, Spanish and so on, but *technical* and *legal* languages!).
