Hi All, Last week I got some time to format a large partition with FreeDOS, because I don't have TCP/IP for FreeDOS, so I boot a Network Boot Disk (http://www.nu2.nu) and access another Windows for files.
When I finished copy those files to that FAT32 L partition, soon I found when I DIR, I got garbage characters only. Seems Win98DOS didn't compatible with FreeDOS but it didn't notice. I try to use DOSFCSK but seems both FAT table destroyed and I've to format again. I think few user will use Win98DOS to access FreeDOS and it's not 'a proper way' (Win98DOS should be throw away). But I'm curious to know which part causing the problem. *Corrected some stupid english and misleading sentence, sorry!
