Well now let's consider which UDMA or UUDMA to use? I allways understood that the most up-to-date and more frequently updated is UUDMA? Am I correct or not? Both ways, the version to include in 'base' should be selected by LUCHO...

There is nothing to select, actually. Starting from version 6.7, the former UDMA was withdrawn from "circulation" and replaced by the former UUDMA which then became UDMA. The final verison 7.0 also contains only UDMA (formerly UUDMA). There is also a 2 KB UDMAJR in the archive, specially "geared" towards embedded systems. All old versions are available on "ibiblio" too thanks to Jim.
