What is the story on Tracker in SourceForge and FreeDOS Bugzilla as far as keeping
status and feedback up-to-date? I'm not asking this to point at a person, annoy
anyone, dump more work on a hapless soul, or even to get auto-volunteered for the task
by bringing up the topic, but I think it is a legitimate question.

While idly browsing FreeDOS sites, I see that Tracker in SourceForge has development
requests going back to 2001. Several requests have since come to fruition without any
notice or follow-ups there. Can (or should) the Tracker tab be turned off so people
don't assume that posted remarks are providing useful feedback, or minimally, titled
with an announcement about Tracker not being supported?

Of more general interest, I see a number of old open or assigned items in Bugzilla
which have been fixed or addressed since the original entry and follow-ups.
Additionally, there are closed items which have an updated status. There is recent
traffic on other Bugzilla items, of course. But, is there a cleanup and reassignment
protocol to address the old development issues? It looks like needs a thorough
spring-cleaning, particularly with the 1.0 release goal in sight.

I realize this could be a touchy topic, but since FreeDOS has the sites available and
publicly linked, it is a good idea to keep them semi-regularly updated. In my
opinion, doing so encourages more and better feedback directly going to the bottom
line of FreeDOS's stability and usefulness.
