I have parttially fixed FreeCom in pt_BR (Brazil), but it is 2 or 3 versions late and the previous version althoug very good, did't have any accents. I will some time soon release a new version. If anyone is interested, contact me ;-)
Just in case it helps, in the header info I have recorded (as a comment) for future references the codepage in which the catalog file has been made with.
Ok, but by the functions that were missing, the version I started with was several years old so probably at the time there was no codepade at all. That is probably why it was intentionaly done withou accents
