yes, just like the umbchk.exe from http://www.uwe-sieber.de/files/umbpci_e.zip

procedure:
*clean boot
*run "EMM386.EXE CHECKBLOCKS"
*get output which 4KB blocks are of what type:
-empty (FF's)
-shadow RAM (00's)
-PROM (AA55 signature)
-misc (code fragments and random code).

just like the /V switch does when installing EMM386 in config.sys, but then commandline.
it should not matter if clean booting or not.
